Trials of Faiz is a new event in Genshin Impact, in which players must identify enemies’ vulnerabilities using a special ability “Superperception”. Today we’ll tell you how to start the event, complete each challenge and get all the rewards.

How to access the Trials of Faiz event
To participate in the event tests, you must first meet the following conditions:
- Reach adventure rank 20.
- Complete the Archons quest “A Song of Dragon Freedom”.
- Unlock the Rift region.
- Unlock the Sumeru region.
Open the events menu and in the tab of the same name click on the button “to the task”. If all the conditions are met, you can pass the quest “Research topic: it’s off” and access the event tests.
Use fast travel in Port Osmosis Sumeru to find a character named Jami.
After a long dialogue, Jami takes the hero to the training ground, where you begin the first test.
Event Rules
The event will run until September 27, 2022. You can participate in 7 different challenges. To receive the available rewards, you must complete certain actions in each challenge. Below we’ve listed everything you need to know about the extra features that are only available in this event:
- As you destroy enemies in the arena, your hero collects Faiz points. Once you have accumulated a certain amount of points, you can use the “Superperception” skill;
- Press the corresponding key to use the skill and scan enemies. From this moment on, the enhanced ability “Super Perception” will become available to you;
- All enemies have a different number of vulnerabilities. Regular vulnerabilities are shown in blue, while critical vulnerabilities are shown in gold.
How to Complete the “Flaws Under the Mushroom Cap” Challenge
Traditionally, the first test is performed very easily. You just need to follow the instructions described in the previous section.
When the heroes are in the arena, fight enemies and collect Faiz points. Once the skill icon in the lower right corner of the screen lights up blue, press the indicated button (key “T” on PC).
At this point, time will slow down and you will be able to track your opponents’ vulnerabilities. If the ability does not detect vulnerabilities, you have the right to reuse Faiz’s energy.
Since you will be fighting in the arena as pilot heroes, we recommend using only elemental skills and elemental explosion. This allows you to quickly collect energy and activate the “Super-Perception” ability.
To complete this challenge and receive all the rewards, you must identify at least 30 enemy vulnerabilities and score 1500 points.
