fan Resident Evil Briins Croft published several videos at once, in which he showed an unofficial remake of the first part, released in 1996. The project was developed on the Unity Engine.

Unlike the fixed-camera original, the remake will be done in a third-person perspective. It also gets new graphics. In addition, some innovations are expected. For example, judging by the videos, the game will have new areas of research.

For those who like old school, the author is also preparing a special version of the game with the subtitle 96 Edition. The graphics are inspired by the 1996 original.

An early version of the project should be released this year. The game is distributed for free.
Recall that earlier the first Resident Evil was shown with images on the Unreal Engine 5. The first computer of its own production was presented in Belarus
