A few days before the release of a remake of one of the best games of 2013 The Last of Us has lifted the embargo on publishing reviews. Although the updated version received high ratings, the project’s average score was lower than the original.
The remake has a score of 87/100 on the rating aggregator OpenCritic. Attack of the Fanboy rated it the worst of all, giving the project only 6 out of 10 points.
Most critics praised the visual improvements, updated artificial intelligence, improved combat system, tighter physics, 3D sound and DualSense support. The downside was the overpriced, cut multiplayer and outdated level design. According to critics, only big fans or those who have not yet completed the first part should buy a remake. The rest is better to wait for a discount.
