Dead Island 2 will be a first-person sandbox with an emphasis on close combat – the game will feature a huge number of weapons, including firearms. The events of the sequel take place in Los Angeles, which is overrun with hordes of zombies. The developers have tried to carefully recreate the iconic spots of the City of Angels, including Beverly Hills and the Venice Beach waterfront.
Players can choose one of six characters with unique personalities and dialogues. Using the skill system, you can instantly change their characteristics and try the craziest builds. Another important feature is the zombie distribution system. In the game, by the way, there will be dozens of types of living dead with their own mutations, attacks and appearance.
Release Dead Island 2 takes place on February 3rd on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
