Microids and Microids Studio Lyon, led by Paul Cuisset, have announced a release date postponement for the sci-fi action platformer Flashback 2. The game was supposed to be released this winter, but it won’t be released until 2023.
As noted, the transfer affected all versions of the game – for Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The reason for the transfer in the studio has not yet been announced. At the same time, the developers assured players that they are working hard to meet the expectations of gamers from the popular series, which has been around for more than 30 years.
The main character of the last game, Konrad and his comrades, will again have to deal with morph aliens. In Flashback 2, already known and new locations are promised. Players will visit New Washington, New Tokyo and also in the jungle.
