Exactly 10 years ago for PlayStation 4 came out Bloodborne is one of the most paradoxical games in recent years. On the one hand, Bloodborne has an indisputable cult status: this is regularly mentioned in the top of the best games, and often in the first ten. Fans call it not only the most important exclusive PlayStation, but also the most important game of all time. On the other hand, unlike popular love, Sony stubbornly ignoring the existence of Bloodborne, and not only refuses to release the remaster, even the simplest patch that increases productivity on PS5. This will, as well as about the game as a whole, be discussed in today’s material.

Favorite Game Miyazaki

In the strongest love for Bloodborne, not only thousands of gamers are admitted, but also the director of the project – Hidetaka Miyazaki. More than once, the eminent game designer stated that of all the games he liked to have worked most on Bloodborne. Nevertheless, the original idea came to make an exclusive for PlayStation 4, not whether someone else from Software, but from Sony himself.

If you ask Bloodborne fans for which they love the game, then with a high degree of probability you will hear the argument in the first place: “For the atmosphere.” It is understandable: Bloodborne – Rol – playing with a unique and not like something atmosphere, which in turn is due to an unusual game setting.
The project is briefly inspired by the Gothic horror – the type of classic novel by Bram Stoker (Bram Stoker) “Dracula” or the French film “Brother Hood” (Le Pacte des Lups) – as well as Cosmic Horror – The Work of Howard Phillips Lavraf Mi -LaCaft) Miura).
Bloodborne starts like a Victorian horror. The aristocratically dressed hero disappears from the werewolves of the street of the fictional city of Yar name, which is painfully reminiscent of Edinburgh of Prague. In addition to the werewolves, you must have to deal with other classic nightmares for the Gothic horror in the first half of the game: there are also witches, harguls and vampires in Bloodborne. Full of the ocean
Bloodborne not only wears a game, but also as a complex story. The story has so much symbolism, hidden subtexts and because it is impossible to explain with one hundred percent confidence what exactly happens in Yarnama. This fact is of course probably angry with someone, but many fans of Bloodborne love to discuss the confusing graft of the game. The internet is full of materials with the analysis: from many hours of videos to written dissertations for hundreds of pages.
If you delve into the study of Bloodborne, you will probably learn a lot of entertaining in the process, for example about the 19th-century medical practices or the concept of R/K selection theory, which sheds light on the plans of space gods.
The best defense is an attack

Incredibly exciting exciting samples using local bizarre inventions – for example, a sword turns into an arc, or a knife that transforms into two daggers. Moreover, each weapon has an extra attack that can only be activated at the time of transformation. That is, it is not just a stylish animation, but a useful technique.
Age is felt?
Regarding the memorable atmosphere, institution, tradition, level design and gameplay mechanics, Bloodborne is not inferior to the new from software games. Nevertheless, this does not mean that a beginner played the same thing Elden Ring will calmly launch the 2015 project and will not notice its age at all. Unfortunately there are plenty of roughness.

The main disadvantage is the technical condition. Even on the PS5 the game cannot give permission above 1080p and the number of employees – more than 30 fps. This is a tragedy for such a dynamic action.
Moreover, Bloodborne is also annoying due to a few other omitings, for a long time in the new games of from software. For example, you can quickly travel through a hub between the locations here, and this is an extra loading screen. It is still not clear why therapeutic flasks and bullets are not automatically supplemented? The entire process must be carried out manually. And where is the individual spring button?
Future
Problems would easily correct a remake or remaster. What is there – resolution and FPS can easily be improved with a patch. Nevertheless after the release The first and final additions to the game that Sony is in all possible ways ignores Bloodborne.
Why? Nobody knows. Possible theories, as well as Sony plans with regard to the game, can be found in a separate material. It is only worth noting that nothing so far indicates the development of a blood ball reprint for PS5 or an official PC port.
In any case, although Bloodborne brings down technical problems, you can’t miss the game. Is it best to be mentioned in the from software repertoire? Everything is based against subjective preferences, but the project certainly remains unique.
