The Finnish studio Remedy shared the details of the next project – the cooperative shooter in the first person FBC: FireReak. We have collected important details in this material.

In the executive department of the oldest house, reasonable newspaper starts to anger for notes. She is glued to everything that falls and changes people into bizarre samples.
As the task passes, the situation is escalated. The level is divided into zones, each of the following throws tests of increasing complexity. At the end of the mission it is necessary to beat the glue Ricky (Sticky Ricky) – a great goal that has been collected from paper.
To successfully deal with emergency situations, agents have to think creatively. The game encourages experiments. For example, aggressive paper can be moistened with water if you activate the firefighters at the level. Then every electric weapon will be more effective against annoying notes. Nevertheless, if you show carelessness, you can accidentally arrange a fire with powerful categories of electricity, which strengthens other types of enemies. Situations about missions constantly change randomly – such unpredictability and make the gameplay exciting.

The complexity of each mission is determined by two parameters – they can be adjusted before the start. The level of threats is therefore responsible for the degree of danger of opponents, while the access level is for the number of areas you have to pass. The higher the parameters are twisted, the more valuable the reward for the successful completion of the task.

The protagonist of control was familiar by superhuman skills such as Telekinese and Levitation to survive the nightmares of the oldest house. But FBC: FireReak agents don’t know how. Their success depends directly on the competent interaction with each other (the cooperative is designed for three) and the reasonable use of the selected equipment.
The agent class is determined by the SO -Entry Emergency Set (Crisiskit). So the attack set (Jump Kit) includes an electrical weapon mentioned above to temporarily immobilize enemies. A hunter with this set is mobile than others.
With a set of mechanics (fix kit) you can cause enormous damage in the nearby struggle with a good key. Moreover, you can build defensive structures with his help. Well, the third at the moment offers a water -well -known set (Splash -Kit) -the possibility to treat Allies and spray enemies with a water cannon. Water also slows and improves the damage with electricity.
Agents can also be adjusted by opening new benefits. The system is inspired by the mechanics of personal changes to control.

FBC: Firebreak is the first game of the Finnish studio that does not prioritize the story, but it is still saturated with the unique remedy -Champ. There are plenty of oddities here. For example, the developers have said that there is a mission where it is necessary to find three mannequins and to place them in a ski lift. And also in the game is a rather unusual system of recovery of lives – washing in the soul. Moreover, the shower can be repaired to wash in hot water – then the players will not slow down, such as cold.

Operating model

Remedy focuses on the fact that the studio is not going to make another game service with aggressive income. The price of FBC: Firbreak is still unknown, but according to the official press release it will be “average”. In addition, the project is added to PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate and PlayStation Plus (both extra and premium).
The developers promise that FBC: Firbreak will do without combat passes and daily prices for entering the account, from which many gamers are tired. You don’t have to pay for future missions and DLC. Moreover, the studio will only earn the game through the sale of skins that have no influence on the gameplay.
Of course it is too early to draw conclusions, but we are watching the project with optimism. It is nice to know that the authors want to avoid typical problems of games. Moreover, the idea of ​​a cooperative shooter in a strange control universe is impressed – with handwriting of humor and brand handwriting.
FBC: FireReak will be released in the summer on PC and current generation consoles. Otherwise Alan Wake 2, the game will be given to not only buy in the Epic Games store, but also on Steam.
