Steam found an unknown game valve – it is still hidden from users

Thanks to the SteamDB database, the players noted that Valve added an unknown project to the site. The hidden game appeared at the end of January and apparently it will have a Multi user regime.

There is little information about the project: in the SteamDB the repository with the IDs 3488080 was added last month and has since received various updates, but it has only become known now. A separate server was also assigned to him, which refers to multiplayer functions. The fact that this is a game that was precisely said by the owner of Steamdb with the nickname XPAW – a rather authoritative source in such cases.

Some fans on Reddit have already suggested that Valve is preparing for the announcement of HLX. For a few months, the Datamainers found in the code of the Source 2-engine references to a non-anons of the game, which can relate to the half-life time. However, there is no evidence that this is true.

Remember that at the end of 2024 there was a lot of prior knowledge that Valve was working on a new part of the half -life. Fans are also excited by the mysterious teaser of the G-Man Voice actor, precisely released by the beginning of 2025. And recently in Counter-Strike 2 players found a hint of a hidden message.
