Take-Two Interactive’s subsidiary, Private Division, will publish a new Lord of the Rings game. The development is being carried out by the New Zealand company Weta Workshop. She provided special effects and props for the Peter Jackson trilogy and opened a gaming department in 2014.
The game is in an early stage of development. The release is expected to occur in fiscal year 2024 (March 2024 – April 2025).
The details of the project have not yet been disclosed, but the company is confident that it will greatly surprise fans of the universe.
