The full-length anime “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep” will premiere on Netflix in February. Ahead of the premiere, the screenwriters revealed that a scene from the series will appear in the animated film.

As Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin said in an interview with SFX magazine, the anime will take place between the fifth and sixth episodes of the first season of Netflix’s The Witcher. At that time, Geralt and Yennefer were arguing after the story with the ghost and practically did not communicate. According to the writers, the characters were still thinking about each other, but the moment was not included in the show. However, the anime will feature a “funny little scene” that was cut from the series.
Geralt can’t let Yennefer go, even if he tries. She stalks him. Even if he wanted to get rid of her, he couldn’t.
The previous trailer already revealed that Yennefer, voiced by Anya Chalotra, will still appear in the anime. The images probably belonged to the same fragment that was not included in the first season. This would explain the presence of Yennefer in the animated film – the plot is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s story “A Little Sacrifice”, in which the sorceress did not appear.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep anime premieres on Netflix on February 11. Geralt is voiced by Doug Cockle, whose voice speaks the Witcher The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
