The new Alone in the Dark will be a remake of the original 1992 game that started the survival horror genre. Events will take place in the southern United States in the 1920s. The main characters, private detective Edward Carnby and his client Emily Hartwood, arrive at the mysterious Derceto mansion where Uncle Emily has disappeared.
In terms of gameplay, the game is a classic survival horror where you have to explore locations, fight monsters and solve puzzles. Doom jazz was chosen as the soundtrack.
