Game designer of a medieval action role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Daniel Vavra decided to answer many fan questions on his X page and dispel some rumors about the game. According to him, the text could contain it spoilers.

This is what he said:
- The studio’s games don’t have unskippable cutscenes;
- The studio’s games are not banned in any country. “At least as far as we know”reported Daniel Vavra;
- “While I don’t like ‘forced diversity,’ no one forced us to do that.”;
- “In the first part there were already gay characters Kingdom Come: Deliverance”;
- “KCD is an RPG and you are responsible for your decisions. If you want Henry to try a gay adventure, feel free. If you don’t want to, you don’t have to. All novels are (and were in KCD1) optional. The characters know very well that this was a forbidden sin.”;
- “The game takes place in one of the richest cities in Europe, which is under siege by a huge foreign army. Therefore, life in such a city is more diverse than life in the villages presented in the first game.”.
- “Musa (the black character) arrived in Bohemia with the invading army as a member of the royal court of King Sigismund, whom he met through his engagement at the court of Sultan Bayezid. He is an educated nobleman and a Renaissance man from the Kingdom of Mali.”;
- “Musa is a very unusual figure for the local Bohemian population, and many of the situations surrounding him in the game stem from this. Therefore, his presence makes sense and creates many interesting situations. The way he talks and behaves is for a reason.”;
- “Everything shown is in accordance with the morals and social norms of 1403 Bohemia and is there solely to create an interesting story and not to please a ‘modern audience’.”;
- “We don’t want KCD to be used as clickbait by people who haven’t even played it. Unfortunately, some of them have become the narrative they are supposedly fighting against. The amount of hateful behavior is truly sad and will be detrimental to any cause associated with it.”.
Let us remind you that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The release is scheduled for February 4 this year. According to ESO blogger Danny, the project received the largest script in gaming history.
