Independent developer David Szymanski, known for Gloomwood and DUSK has published a gameplay trailer of its new game Butcher’s Creek, which looks like a mixture Manhunt and Condemned.
In the video, the author revealed the exact release date: January 23 this year. There is a page on Steam. There you can download a demo version.
Butcher’s Creek is described as a first-person horror game that follows a character who is captured by maniacs. To gain freedom, the hero must become a sadist himself and eliminate anyone who tries to stop him.
“What starts as an illegal urban exploration turns into a fight for survival when he is captured by a gang of sadistic killers. Now his only option is to grab a box cutter, hammer, pickaxe or other handy tool and arrange his own video violence.”says the description.
The author features a variety of weapons (hammers, axes, pipes, stationery knives and more) and a sea of brutality.
