Boomer shooter developer Fortune’s Run nicknamed Dizzy announced the release of a major update with lots of story content, new levels, factions, weapons and more. You can’t wait for the next update yet: the author is going to jail.
The developer has been under investigation for five years and will soon be sentenced to three years in prison. “I was a very violent person and I hurt a lot of people in my life,” he admitted.
Dizzy did not share any details about the case, but promised to continue development after his release. Fortune’s Run showed good sales, so the author can afford to rent an apartment and full-time production.
Fortune’s Run is a dystopian science fiction story set in a world of “dreak factories and boarded up storefronts” in New Zabra. The game received 92% positive reviews for its deep combat system and atmospheric locations.
