Hidden endings are not uncommon in modern games. However, to obtain this you often have to meet a number of special conditions, not all of which are obvious. New Indiana Jones and the Great Circle also has a secret ending that reveals the fate of one of the characters a little more fully. In this manual we will tell you how to obtain it and what you need.
What do you need for the secret ending?
So, to unlock the secret ending in Indiana Jones, you’ll need to collect ancient relics. There are 50 in total, and they are spread across large sandbox locations. You will have to explore every corner of the Vatican, Giza and Sukhothai to complete this task, but you will still only be able to collect 49 of them. There’s a little secret in the last relic.
Complete the Story Campaign. After the final you will have the opportunity to further explore the location in Iraq. The relic waits in the tent of Foss, who also happens to be the final boss of the game. After victory, you must visit the tent again and retrieve the missing relic. At the locations you can find or buy guides that show all the objects on the map, but this does not make the task much easier, because you have to get to many places through not the most obvious routes.
How to complete the puzzle in Ziggurat of Ur
All relics are needed for a single puzzle, located here in Iraq. It is located in the Ziggurat of Ur. In the story, when Indy and Gina use the elevator, there is a tunnel on the right.
There are several principles that will help you solve the puzzle:
- First, all 50 relics are needed to place them in the slots on the wall. The grooves are no different, and neither are the relics.
- Secondly, the main task is to lift all the recesses. Turning the relic to the right will raise nearby nodes vertically and horizontally. Turning to the left increases adjacent nodes. There are exactly 50 slots, therefore you will have to collect relics, otherwise the puzzle will not be solved.
Five rounds await you. Each subsequent round requires more relics than the previous one, and is therefore more difficult to complete.
Follow the screenshots below to complete all challenges. The left arrow means the relic is turning to the left. Right is equal respectively.
In the first round you have to hand in 4 relics, in the second 7, in the third 12, in the fourth 13 and in the fifth 14.
What’s in the secret ending?
If you did everything right, you will see a cutscene showing large footprints in the snow leading to Noah’s Ark. This is a minor spoiler for a possible sequel and a hint that Locus is still alive.
