1C Game Studios showed the premiere trailer for the action adventure War of the Worlds: Siberia, set in an alternate 19th century Russia. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, the release date is not yet known.
The plot of the project is inspired by Herbert Wells’ science fiction novel about the invasion of Martians on Earth. However, the game is not set in Great Britain, but in Russia in 1896. The main character, a simple student, must escape from St. Petersburg, captured by aliens, survive in chaos and fight against looters. Judging from the trailer, stealth will be preferred.
/>For now, the project has no release date. As the developers said at the RED EXPO, it will be announced in 2025.
