Some actors become so accustomed to their roles that they involuntarily begin to imitate the characters. The performer of the role of Jinx in Arcane, Ella Purnell, also known from the series Fallout, admitted that she caused chaos in the studio during the recording of the heroine’s lines.
In a recent interview to celebrate the release of Arcane’s second act, the actress shared how she accidentally broke the recording booth while reading the lyrics. She had to perform the Jinx fight scene, and Ella Purnell got “a little” carried away:
It was a moment of true madness. I just started doing some kind of karate routine in my cubicle and making different noises, which would break things around me from time to time.
The performer would not have spoken about this incident without Arcane showrunner Christian Linke. He was so impressed by the special approach that he now constantly reminds Ella Purnell of the chaos during the recording.
Let us remind you that today the final episodes of the second season of Arcane were released on Netflix. There will be no official continuation of the series.
