There is no longer any doubt about the remake Silent Hill 2 by the Polish studio Bloober Team was a real success. Against the background of high ratings and popularity, the developers confirmed that they are ready to reconsider other games in the legendary series.
IGN asked Bloober Team Head and Designer Wojciech Piejko if the studio was ready to work on Silent Hill games again. The director confirmed that the team is open to working with Konami:
I think we’re always ready. If we like the opportunity, we will take it. There are offers you should grab. Like Silent Hill 2, it is possible to recreate the legend, so yes, I believe it is possible.
Silent Hill 2 Remake was released on October 8 for PC and PlayStation 5 and received high marks from critics and players alike. The game has already sold a million copies and is in the TOP 20 best horror games of the past 20 years.
Blogger Enveloping Sounds previously showed what a remake of Silent Hill 2 could look like with a fixed camera. The Bloober Team studio also announced its new project: a survival horror about a post-apocalyptic future.
