Brand Retroid recently revealed new details about its upcoming Pocket Mini portable retro gaming console, which was announced last month, including the processor the device will use.

It turned out that the console will be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chip, which can still deliver quite good performance.

The Pocket Mini also gets a 4,000mAh battery, a 3.7-inch AMOLED display with a 960p resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. Additionally, the console can output 1080p resolution and 60 FPS to an external monitor via a USB Type-C port (with support for DisplayPort Alt Mode).

The weight of the device is 215 g, width – 16.5 cm, height – 7.7 cm and thickness – 1.7 cm.

The exact cost and release date of Pocket Mini have not been announced yet.

It is worth noting that Retroid will also release the Pocket 5 portable console, which will have the following features:

  • 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio;
  • Ability to output images to external sources in 1080p and 60 FPS mode;
  • Processor Snapdragon 865;
  • Battery 5000 mAh;
  • Width – 19.9 cm, height – 7.8 cm and thickness – 1.56 cm;
  • Weight – 280 grams.
