How to start the Breaking the Waves Challenge series?
Challenges are available from July 15 to August 14, 2022. To start them, you must reach the 32nd Adventure Rank and complete the following missions:
- Archon’s task “Autumn wind, crimson leaves”;
- Mona’s legends task “What the stars of this world say”;
- Quest “Another vacation in the archipelago of the Golden Apple!”. We have dedicated a separate guide to him.
After that, open the “Events” menu, then – “Summer Sea Trip”. Click on the “Event Description” button. In the window that opens, select the item “Breaking Waves”.
How to complete the first set of challenges “Breaking the Waves”
At this stage you have three tasks:
- Complete the challenge in less than 140 seconds.
- Use Breakwater Sprint once.
- Apply Texturing three times.
Go to the point indicated on the map.
Summon the wave rover and take the helm. Communicate with the red buoy to complete the challenge. You are waiting for a dive at the checkpoints. Note the green energy orbs that restore Haste ability. When they are above the wavewalker, press the button responsible for the elemental ability to pull them towards you.
This ability is called structuring. Use the attack key to activate the sprint. This is how you complete the 2nd and 3rd trial. When you get close to the finish, jump out of the breakwater, fly through the air rings and land at the indicated point. If you’ve used a sprint, it won’t be hard to get 140 seconds.

How to get through the second set of challenges “Breaking the Waves”
Here you have three goals:
- Complete the challenge in less than 260 seconds.
- Complete the challenge in less than 140 seconds.
- Destroy two obstacles.
Summon Wavewalker and start the race. Here you have to remember which obstacles can be destroyed by sprinting. Fences and small towers don’t break by hitting your breakwater, but reefs and large towers remain intact. Pay special attention to balloons. If they float in the air – feel free to bump into devices, if they are attached to barrels – swim past.
Destroying objects is not only necessary to complete the third test. Some of them serve as an obstacle that hides a shortcut to the next checkpoint. This way you can easily swim through all the markers in 140 seconds. Therefore, it is better not to use the sprint again, but to save it for rams. If you can’t destroy the obstacle, try to swim around it beforehand. Any collision takes too long.

How to get through the third set of challenges “Breaking the Waves”
You have three tasks:
- Complete the challenge in less than 260 seconds.
- Complete the challenge in less than 140 seconds.
- Use the breakwater sprint at least 4 times.
Some energy balls are located next to obstacles. In order not to spend an extra sprint and not to slow down due to the impact, we recommend that you swim closer and apply Structuring. Some destructible barriers will appear as you move, so be prepared to sprint.
