As Izvestia was told in the press service of the Council of Ministers, the apparatus of the government of the Russian Federation received a letter, it was sent to the Ministry of Finance for processing. The Ministry said that they have received objections and that the proposals will be evaluated in the prescribed manner.

Vladimir Koshelev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Utilities, told the publication that he supports this initiative. According to him, it is necessary to do everything “to create any favorable conditions” to increase the level of affordability of housing for Russians.

The MP also expressed the view that it is necessary to simplify the registration of tax breaks.
