Update 4.8 added the Simulanka location to Genshin Impact. It is a temporary location that will be available until August 24, 2024. Until this date, you will have the opportunity to study its secrets, in particular to solve local riddles. Our guide is dedicated to the puzzle with stars and a secret room.
Access to the puzzle
First of all, you need to open the Simulanka area. To do this, you need to perform three steps:
- Reach adventure rank 18;
- Complete the Archon mission “Prologue: Act III. Song of Dragon Freedom”;
- Complete the quest ‘The story begins in a forest where no rain falls’.
Once you are in Simulank, start by playing through the main storyline of the event. You will need to open access to the Broken Sea. You can unlock this location after completing the mission ‘Until the End of the World’.
Then go to the island, which is located in the north of the location.
What is the essence of the riddle with the stars?
In the middle of the island, near the teleportation point, you will see three stars. But as soon as you get close to them, they fly away. Your task is to find them all and lead them to the desired point.
First star
From the central point of the island, go to the right. The star is floating above the surface of the earth next to a hill. Approach it, and once it starts to fly away, follow it. Soon you will notice a pillar that serves as a kind of teleport. Take advantage of it.
Keep following the star until it stops. A chest will appear for you to search. Then activate another pillar to return to the main island.
Second star
Run from the center of the island to the left until you see a star. When you reach the cliff, scan the area and run along the invisible platforms. The star will fly to the statue, which must be walked around the perimeter. There you will find a second chest. Open it and go back the way you came.
Third star
It is located to the left of the statue in the middle of the island. Run after it and jump from one platform to another until the star falls. At this point it is possible to explore the area. Select “Inspect”. Jump down and follow the star until you reach the secret room.
