Capcom has announced a new patch for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which will mainly focus on repairing pawns. It will also fix two accompanying issues that players have complained about most often.

The first of these is the dragon plague. Let us remind you that this pawn disease was an extremely unpleasant discovery for the players. Companions became infected with it during battles with dragons or other pawns and turned into uncontrollable monsters, destroying all NPCs in their path, including quests. The worst part was that the signs of the disease were extremely subtle. With the new patch, the eyes of infected pawns will glow much brighter and the companions themselves will become infected less often.
The second solution will affect the frequency of pawn dialogues. Many players didn’t like that the companions liked to comment on everything. The update will make them talk less often.
The patch will also fix other issues in the game, such as:
- Show open chests on the mini-map;
- Inability to win five pawns;
- Frequent falls from companions off cliffs;
- Unresponsiveness of pawns when asked to assist in battle;
- Chance of ending up in jail for fighting monsters in the city.

In addition, a number of technical errors in the game will be fixed and minor changes will be made to the character display screen. The developers did not announce a release date for the patch and promised to release it for all platforms “as soon as it is ready.”
Earlier we talked about an unusual speedrun in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The blogger completed the game naked and without weapons, which took him only an hour and a half.
