On February 21, the Central Bank revoked QIWI Bank’s license. All operations with cards and accounts from this system are no longer available. However, if there is still money in your account, you can refund it. Detailed instructions can be found in our article.

How to return money from a QIWI wallet
Unfortunately, you cannot transfer money from QIWI to another bank’s account with one click. All funds are considered electronic and therefore not insured. The return procedure will take time, so this should only be done by those who risk losing a large amount of money.
Action algorithm:
- Print the application and fill it out by hand.
- Collect documents that confirm that you are the owner of your wallet in QIWI Bank. You will need a copy of your passport and an agreement with the telecom operator.
- The application and documents must be placed in an envelope and sent by Russian post to the address 117648, Moscow, microdistrict. Chertanovo Severnoe, 1A, Building 1. of 127994, Moscow, GSP-4, GC DIA, Temporary Board of QIWI Bank (JSC).
Please note that you will pay the costs for sending the letter yourself.
It is important to submit the application during the term of the temporary administration or within 60 days from the moment the QIWI bank is declared bankrupt. Therefore, we recommend that you do not delay sending the letter until it is too late.
Your application will be processed within 30 working days from the date of registration of your application in the agency’s database. According to statements made by agency representatives, the organization has enough money to pay all customers.
