Palworld launched in early access on January 19, 2023 and immediately gained massive popularity around the world. It is not surprising that within a few days the first user changes appeared on the network. In this article we have collected the best mods and told you how to install them.
Currently there are very few customizations for Palworld. However, they are coming out every day, so in the future we will expand the selection.
How to install mods on Palworld
Normally we provide general instructions for most changes in this section. However, in the case of Palworld, installing mods involves certain nuances. Therefore, installation algorithms for each mod are described separately.
Where is the folder with the game files?
In the instructions we refer to the Palworld game map. By default it is set to “C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonPalworld”. However, it is possible that Steam is installed on a different drive. In this case, finding the desired folder will be a little more difficult:
- Open your library on Steam.
- Find Palworld and right-click on it.
- Select an item “Check”and then – “View local files”.
- The game folder opens. Remember her address.
Giorma’s Realistic Reshade 1.0 – improved graphics
Improving the quality of graphics in the game using ReShade technology.
Installation procedure:
- Download Reshade.
- Download the archive with the change and extract it to a folder “PalworldPalBinariesWin64”.
- Walk Reshade_Setup.exe from the ReShade catalogue. Select PalworldThan your DirectXand then specify the file Reshade.ini out of fashion. Complete the installation.
- Start the game.
- Click Shift+F2 or At hometo open settings. Select Giorma’s ReShade.
Do you improve the graphics in games using mods?
Disable motion blur and vignette – disable the blur effect during motion
A simple adjustment that removes the blur effect. All movements will be clear, without unnecessary blur.
Installation procedure:
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.

Steam Deck Essentials (all Palworld handhelds) – Improved productivity
If you do not need to improve image quality, but want to improve gaming performance, then pay attention to this change. It is mainly designed for Steam Deck and other portable devices. However, the mod can also be useful for owners of weak hardware.
Installation procedure:
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.
- File Motor.ini must be moved to a folder “C:UsersUsernameAppDataLocalPalSavedConfigWindows” with replacement.
- Folder “~mods” must be copied to the directory “PalworldPalContentPaks”.
Nude mod – naked female characters
A classic nude mod that strips the main character completely naked and enhances the texture of her body. The change is activated when you remove all of the girl’s clothes. There’s no underwear underneath.
Installation procedure:
- Download the 3Dmigoto 1.3.16 utility.
- Copy files to folder “PalworldPalBinariesWin64”.
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.
- Transfer the contents of the change to the directory “PalwordPalBinariesWin64” with replacement of current files.
Naked males – naked male characters
An analogue of the previous mod, which undresses the main character of the game. The working principle is the same.
Installation procedure:
- Open the folder “PalworldPalContentPacks”. In it you need to create a folder with the name “~mods” (without quotes). If you already have it, skip this point.
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.
- Move it to the folder “~mods”.
Spyro As Foxparks – Spyro the dragon in the world of Palworld
Adds the dragon Spyro from the game of the same name to the game series of games. It will be useful for fighting other fires and cooking food. But keep in mind that if you are careless, it may cause a fire.
Installation procedure:
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.
- Transfer the contents to a folder “PalworldPalContentPaks”.
Durability Increase – Increased durability of tools and weapons
This mod will appeal to those who are annoyed by the excessive fragility of the tools in the game. Thanks to the adaptation to the sustainability increase, they will become much stronger.
Installation procedure:
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.
- Transfer the contents to the directory “PalworldPalBinariesWin64Mods”.
- Find the file in the same folder “mods.txt”.
- Open it and write the line inside “vuxDurabilityIncreaseToolsWeapons: 1” (without quotes).
Remove the Pal Revive timer – instant revival of friends
After installing this tweak, you will instantly revive friends without waiting ten minutes. However, you still need a fire container to bring your pets back to life.
Installation order:
- Download the archive with the mod and extract it.
- Transfer the contents to a folder “PalworldPalBinariesWin64Mods”.
- Find the file in the same folder “mods.txt”.
- Open it and write the line inside “vuxRemovePalReviveTimer: 1” (without quotes).
LuckyPals – lucky friends
Thanks to this mod, the friends you meet in the game have a high happiness parameter. The effect only affects regular animals and does not affect bosses.
Installation procedure:
- Download the UE4SS utility and install it into the directory “PalworldPalBinariesWin64Mods”.
- Download the archive containing the mod and extract it to the same folder.
- Find the file inside it “mods.txt” and open with any text editor.
- Write a line “LuckyPals: 1” (without quotes).
MapUnlocker – fully open map
The MapUnlocker tweak removes the fog of war and opens the entire map. In this case you will not receive travel points; you must receive this yourself. The mod works in both single and multiplayer modes.
- Download UE4SS and install it in the folder “PalwordPalBinariesWin64”.
- Download the mod file and extract it to the same folder.
