Capcom officially showed the continuation of the hit game in a new video Resident Evil 8 Villageand also showed the ability to play for Lady Dimitrescu.
Capcom held its own gaming event, which finally showcased the addition to the game Resident Evil 8 Village that many gamers have been waiting for. The DLC is called Shadows of Rose and takes place after the events of the main game. The main character of the add-on will be Rose, the daughter of Ethan, the main character of Resident Evil 8. In the trailer shown, they demonstrated the gameplay for Rose. The girl will visit familiar places and fight new enemies. According to the plot of the add-on, she wants to learn how to control or lose her powers in order to live a normal life. It is noteworthy that in the Shadows of Rose DLC all gameplay is played from a third person, while in the main game Resident Evil 8 Village only the first person was available.
It’s worth noting that Shadows of Rose is part of The Winters Expansion. In addition to the story DLC, it brings a few more innovations to Resident Evil 8 Village. For example, The Mercenaries mode will feature new playable characters, including Chris Redfield, Lady Dimitrescu, and Heisenberg. Each of them will have its own special moves.
