How to find the secret ending
In chapter eight, Nikki, aka the Matriarch, invites Peter to go back in time, save his mother and reunite with her. To do this, you must make a ‘promise’ to yourself. After you save mother, she will hug Peter Quill. The background will start to turn white and Peter will feel pain. Especially at this point, most players started pressing the movement keys to free themselves from the hug, killing her and leaving the false memory behind. But few users decided to do nothing.
To get the secret early ending in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you’ll need to do exactly this: stand still and wait for events to unfold after “Mother” hugs Peter. If you wait a moment, Peter will appear in front of the house and the black slime will start to thicken in all corners of the screen.
Run into the house and look at your comrades who will stay with you forever. When the slime fills the entire screen, the credits begin and the game asks, “Will you accept the promise?” Select “Accept the Promise”to end the game early and unlock the secret ending. Select to break this time loop “Change Your Mind”.
How to get the normal ending
In the chapter “Matriarch” you need to escape from the hands of your mother and get out of memory, and then just follow the plot. Unfortunately, from this point until the end credits, there won’t be any splits or choices that would radically affect the plot. After destroying the last enemy, you will receive the standard ending.
