Turrets are often found in dark corners. They can be identified in advance using a flashlight or scanner and then bypassed. However, this approach runs the risk of not noticing the device and suffering multiple bursts of lead, which will likely kill your hero. After the tower detects the player, it makes a characteristic sound and points an orange laser at him. Gamers literally have a few seconds to hide behind a wall or cover. Be aware that bullets will shoot through stairs and grates. If there are no suitable shelters nearby, just run away. In this case you have a chance to escape.

However, this dangerous tactic is suitable for those who play alone. If you’re playing Lethal Company with friends, we recommend using the terminal on your ship. To do this, you must enter the word otherand then view monitor. The dome is indicated by a red cone with the indicated viewing area. The player sitting behind the on-board computer can inform teammates about the danger.

Via the terminal you can see not only the machine gun itself, but also the code designation, for example “m6”. Enter this series of letters and numbers into the on-board computer to switch off the device. The deactivation takes two seconds, but this is enough to slip by. The inscription itself changes color from green to red. Similarly, mines are disabled and doors locked with an electronic lock are opened.

If you want to permanently disable the turrets, you’ll need to find an electrical panel. Pull the switch or simply press it.

This is a risky tactic, but it can help you if you are fighting a particularly strong enemy or a group of small monsters. You will have to get close to the turret and hit it with a cold weapon – a traffic sign or a shovel. Then she starts shooting at everyone and will most likely hit the aliens chasing you. But at the same time, bullets can also hit you, so it is advisable to take cover or retreat in extreme cases.

Getting to an active turret isn’t easy – you have to run to it, risk your life, or crawl. In the second case, your movement speed will decrease sharply, which enemies can take advantage of. Therefore, we recommend that you first disable the tower via the terminal, then get close to it and hit the device after it is active again. Of course, this requires coordinated actions with other players.
