how to get Primordial, Weak and Thick Resin in the game fast

Ancient resin is one of the most important raw materials in Genshin impact. It allows you to receive rewards from the Arteries of the Earth and Void Dungeons, as well as for killing bosses and passing tests on some events. In this guide, we’ll show you how to quickly replenish your in-game resin stock.

Why you need elemental resin in Genshin Impact?

As we have already noted, resin is necessary to receive several awards. Without the use of Source Stones, a player can have 160 units of this resource at a time.

Resin regenerates automatically at a rate of 1 every 8 minutes. Keeping track of the amount is primarily for those who spend a lot of time in the game and kill the same bosses over and over for valuable rewards. The costs are as follows:

Opening the Artery of the Earth – 20 units;

Interact with the petrified tree in the dungeon – 20 units;

Receive a reward for killing a regular boss – 40 units;

Get a reward for beating the weekly boss – from 30 to 60 units.

For using Primordial Resin, in addition to rewards, you will receive Traveler Experience, in a ratio of 1 to 5.

Theoretically, you can pass tests without resin. But in this case you will not get any reward. Fortunately, there is an option to get extra resin into play.

How To Replenish Resin In Genshin Impact

There are three ways:

Using Weak Resin or Transition Resin For 1 piece you will receive 60 units of Primordial Resin. In total, you can have up to 20 units of Weak Resin in your inventory. We will tell more about this resource below.

Using source stones The ratio varies depending on how much resin you want to get. In this case, increase the maximum available value of this resource from 160 to 2000 units.

Using thick resin Allows you to receive rewards from the arteries of the earth and petrified trees in the dungeons. In this case, Primordial Resin will not be consumed. Please note that Thick Tar cannot be used to receive rewards for killing bosses. In total, a player can have 5 units of this resource.

Thick and weak resin should be used if you have less than 100 elemental resins.

How to get weak resin:

Use “Cake for you”, which is presented to the Traveler on his birthday. You determine this date yourself. You will receive 1 unit of Weak Resin.

Reward for reaching certain Adventure Ranks1 to 2 units per rank.

Wanderer Battle Pass, Pearly Anthem and Pearly Chorus Reward If you buy one of these sets, you will receive 5 Weak Resin as a bonus.

Reward for “Long Journey Pack” Buying it with Genesis Crystals will give you 1 unit of Weak Resin.

There is also Transition Resin in the game. It’s similar to the Weak, but its duration is limited to seven days from the time you buy it. If you don’t use the item, it just disappears. Using Weak of Transitional Resin is the best way to replenish this resource when it is urgently needed. You will have to spend Original Resin to make Thick Resin, and it is better to keep Source Stones for other purposes.
