Lethal Company is a new cooperative horror game set on distant planets and moons. As you progress through the game, you will encounter different monsters. They have strengths and weaknesses and therefore require an individual approach. In this guide we will tell you how to beat them all.
Deadly Business Directories

As you explore distant planets and their satellites, you are guaranteed to encounter different types of monsters that are alive. Among them there are both harmless creatures and extremely dangerous creatures. In this guide, we’ve put together the entire Lethal Company bestiary. Thanks to this, you will learn how to calculate the type of monster, including by sound, how to kill them and which of the enemies are immortal.
Remark: The game is in early access, so monsters’ abilities may change over time. If this happens we will update the guide.
Harmless monsters
In this category you will find several creatures that pose no threat to players. You can kill them, but there’s no point. Just ignore.
Mantic oil

Common birds. They do not attack players and spread to the sides as soon as you get close.
Wandering locusts

Small groups of insects found on every planet and roaming its surface. They are afraid of players, so they try to stay away from them.
Monsters that attack back
These aliens never attack first, but defend themselves if you hit them or get too close.
Hamster bug

Collectors of loot. You can try to take for yourself the loot that the monsters found, but in this case the beetles will attack the hero. Let’s keep in mind that they don’t pose any particular threat.
Spore lizard

Despite the creepy appearance of this monster, it is not dangerous. If you get close, the lizard may bite you and release a cloud of smoke through which you cannot see anything. In this case, you will have to run away quickly.
Baboon Hawk

Strong birds that mind their own business and pose no threat to you. However, they can become aggressive if you come within striking distance of them.
Hygroder

A turquoise puddle of goo that dissolves everything like acid. You won’t be able to kill her, but it won’t be difficult to get around her either. If desired, Hydroder can be distracted with music.
Circuit bee

As a rule, they live near the hive and will only attack you if you approach their “house”. However, the hive can be sold for a profit, so you will probably want to disturb the bees. We recommend that you be smart and follow our recommendations:
- Agree to start a bee hunt with one player or a group of gamers. You will divert the insects to yourself, and your allies will approach the hive and take them away. Or vice versa.
- After you steal the hive, the bees go into an aggressive state and start flying around the planet and stinging everyone. Therefore, it is recommended to hunt them before leaving the satellite.
Aggressive (deadly) monsters
Aliens that purposefully attack players regardless of your actions. Some of them attack immediately, while others set traps, wait in ambush, or attack from behind.
Broke

A creature vaguely reminiscent of a human. He hides in the darkness and tries to attack from behind. You can recognize him by his glowing eyes. If you look directly at it, the monster retreats. Librarians behaved similarly in the game “Metro 2033”. However, if the eye contact continues for a long time, Bracken will launch an attack. Therefore, it is better to limit yourself to a brief look and then run away. But hurry, because this alien is moving at great speed.
Rinse head

Another monster to watch. But in his case it is important not to look away, otherwise he will kill the player. In the fight with the Reel Heads, flash grenades will help you.
Snare flea

These aliens will ambush you on the ceiling. Once you are among them, they will jump on the player and try to strangle you. In this case, it is advisable to have an ally help you. If the flea does not kill the player, they will chase and attack the player. But if the element of surprise disappears, the monsters will no longer pose a major threat. In this case, you can run away from them or engage in open combat.
Bunker spiders

Like fleas, they love to set traps. Spiders set up a web and wait for an unlucky traveler to fall into it. It can be cut off, but after that the arachnids are guaranteed to attack you. They only need to strike a few times to defeat the player. It is advisable to first blind the spider with a flash grenade and only then attack it. And it is better to completely bypass the arthropod habitat.
Pistils

Deaf creatures that can be recognized by their disgusting sound. However, if they notice you, they will chase you until they kill you. If you can’t get around it from the side, try climbing to a higher area. If you had to retreat, suddenly change direction as you move. In many cases, Thumper will continue to run forward due to inertia.
Jester

The fight with this monster consists of three phases. In the first, he chases the player but does not attack. On the second day, to the accompaniment of exciting music, preparations for the attack begin. And in the third phase, a skull flies out of the Jester, killing the player instantly if it hits it. The cycle repeats until you leave the planet. We recommend not to take any risks, but to retreat to the spaceship during the first phase.
Girl

Under this innocent name lies an extremely dangerous mutant. He sees and attacks only one person, but other players will not be able to help the ally. Therefore, as soon as you see the girl, return to the spaceship and fly away from the planet. Otherwise she’s guaranteed to kill your partner or you.
Eyeless dog

An extremely dangerous predator that hunts only at night. If he notices you, he will call the entire herd for help. Purely theoretically, you can get rid of dogs, but it is extremely difficult to do, especially in the early stages. Additionally, monsters can ambush players, including on your ship. To prevent this, don’t forget to close the door.
Forest ranger

A huge night monster that resembles a large tree. If you spot him in the woods, stand still and wait for him to turn away. There’s no point in fighting him. When the Guardian is looking away, return to the ship as quickly as possible.
Earth Leviathan

Underground giant. It can only be detected on a computer at night. Before the monster appears on the surface, the signal becomes stronger and a loud noise is heard. When you hear it, run as fast as you can to the spaceship and fly away. Leviathan is immortal and kills all players who failed to leave the planet.
