MSI has unveiled three new gaming laptops based on 12th generation Intel Core processors. They are positioned as solutions for the metaverse and are equipped with high quality hardware. Let’s talk about each in more detail.
MSI Titan GT77
This is a laptop with a top-of-the-line 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 graphics. Choose from the budget RTX 3060 to the powerful RTX 3080 Ti. In addition, both chips – both the central and the graphics – can run at full capacity without restrictions. The exclusive OverBoost technology allows you to boost their total thermal package to a level of 250 watts.

Like desktop computers, Titan GT77 offers four slots for installing DDR5 RAM. The total capacity can reach 128 GB and the data transfer speed is up to 6.4 Gbps. As for the permanent memory, the laptop has four M.2 slots, one of which supports PCIe Gen5 mode, and the rest – PCIe Gen4. They can install solid state drives with a total capacity of up to 8 TB.

The Titan GT77 has a keyboard with Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile mechanical switches designed specifically for mobile computing. It supports full RGB backlighting with the ability to program the glow of each button.
The cooling system includes 4 fans, 7 heat pipes and 6 vents.

Finally, the display – the laptop uses a 17.3-inch panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is support for True Color technology. The battery capacity is 99.9 Wh, while the laptop weighs just over 3 kg. Thickness – no more than 23 mm. OS – Windows 11. Recommended price – from $3,200 ($4,950 for the top configuration).
MSI Titan Raider GE77/GE67
This model also uses the Intel Core i9-12900HX and graphics cards up to the RTX 3080 Ti with a maximum video memory of up to 16 GB. The Raider GE77 version uses 17.3-inch screens with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels at 120 Hz or 2560×1440 pixels at 240 Hz.

There’s a 99.9Wh battery, a SteelSeries keyboard with customizable full-color Per-Key RGB backlighting, and Duo Wave speakers from Dynaudio. Separately, it is worth noting the cooling system, which includes two fans and seven heat pipes.
The GE67 model has a 15.6-inch diagonal OLED screen with a frequency of 240 Hz and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Note that this is the first model in the world with such a display. The rest of the figures are identical to the larger model.
MSI Vector GP76HX/GP66HX
This model also has an Intel Core i9-12900HX processor and graphics cards up to RTX 3080 Ti with a maximum video memory of up to 8 GB. The GP76 HX model uses 17.3-inch screens with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels at 120 Hz or 2560×1440 pixels at 240 Hz.

The Cooler Boost 5 cooling system is built on 2 fans and 6 heat pipes. There’s also a SteelSeries keyboard with customizable, full-color Per-Key RGB backlighting. Separately, we note the MSI Center application with a game mode and new features, as well as the MSI App Player emulator for running mobile games on the PC platform.

The GP66 HX repeats the older model in almost everything, except it has a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a frequency of 240 Hz.
CreatorPro X17
MSI has unveiled CreatorPro X17 with 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900HX 16-core processor and NVIDIA RTX A5500 notebook graphics card.
This laptop got a screen with a diagonal of 17.3 inches with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a frequency of 120 Hz. An IPS matrix is used. In the maximum configuration, a professional NVIDIA RTX A5500 graphics card with 16 GB of memory is installed. It is possible to install up to 128 GB DDR5-4800 RAM (4 slots), there are also 4 places for NVMe, M.2 drives, one for PCIe Gen5, the other three for PCIe Gen4. There is a SteelSeries keyboard with customizable full color key lighting.

The fingerprint scanner is responsible for security. Among the network capabilities, we note the wired connection of the Intel Killer Ethernet E3100G (up to 2.5 Gb/s), Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675 and Bluetooth 5.2. The audio system includes two Dynaudio speakers. Of the connectors, there is one combined audio connector, each one mini-DisplayPort and HDMI. There are also two Thunderbolt 4 and three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A. The battery is 99.9 Wh, the charger has a capacity of 330 watts.

In general, all three gaming laptops can perfectly “show themselves” in games and at work. They will all hit the market in the near future. The fourth is for work.
