One of the funniest cases of review bombing happened on Metacritic. Recently there was an early release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, whose story campaign received low ratings. Gamers decided to express their dissatisfaction on a popular aggregator site, but accidentally mixed up the games.
Due to the fact that there is no page for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Metacritic, fans have organized a raid on another game – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 2011. The shooter’s user rating is currently 3.6.
Experts have already deleted angry comments, but the rating has not yet been updated. Many players decided to correct the final rating themselves and give the shooter massive tens.
