It became the new exact name of McDonald’s fast food restaurants, which they received in Russia after the departure of McDonald’s.
Sources say McDonald’s restaurants have been rebranded as Dominis. It was this name that was chosen for the restaurant chain after McDonald’s closed its business in Russia. It is noted that the first institutions under the new brand will open in Moscow on June 12 – Russia Day. The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to launch a restaurant chain called Dominis in honor of Russia Day. All other points of restaurants that are ready for a relaunch will open within two months, according to the Moscow 24 TV channel.
Earlier, information about other names for the former McDonald’s appeared on the network. It was said that the restaurant chain could be named in line with one of McDonald’s slogans. Among the options were the following: “Just So”, “Nice and Delicious”, “Same”, and “Free Checkout”. Despite the new name, it is expected that the McDonald’s menu familiar to all visitors will be retained.
It is worth noting that McDonald’s initially only suspended its operations in Russia. However, as early as May 16, it was announced that the restaurant chain McDonald’s has completely withdrawn from the Russian market.
