“Kaleidoscope of Lights” is a themed event in Genshin Impact 4.0, in which you have to explore the depths of the sea and collect jellyfish. There are good rewards for this. Today we’ll tell you how to participate and receive all the available rewards.

How to participate in the Kaleidoscope of Lights event
Anyone can participate in the event if he or she meets a number of mandatory conditions. At the same time, there is no need to go to the final quest chains of the Archons at this time:
- Reach adventure rank 20;
- Open the Fontaine region and activate a Hydro Archon statue in the area;
- Complete the Archon mission ‘Song of Dragon Freedom’.
If you have already opened Fontaine, completed the necessary quests and increased your adventure rank to 20, then you can safely go to the port of Romarin. You can also open the job log (key “J” on PC) and click the button “Follow Goal”. The marker will lead you to a man named Kisan, who talks to the Gendarme.
The event lasts until October 7, 2023.
Event Rules
There are a total of eight stages available in the event: seven main stages and one additional. Each stage opens 24 hours after the previous one (at the time of writing, only the first stage is available).
First, participants must reach a certain area to begin the jellyfish collecting challenge. Each marker is close to the teleporters, so if you haven’t fully explored Fontaine yet, now is the time to do so. However, in each individual section we will tell you how to quickly get to a particular area.
Once the challenge starts, fluorescent jellyfish will appear in front of you. Just follow them to collect the maximum amount. However, if you leave the staging area (indicated on the mini-map), the test will fail.
Turbulence rings and turbulent bubbles also appear in the collection area – they help the character swim faster. This comes in handy in stages where players are limited by a timer.
Assembly area 1
Use the teleport to the underwater valley of Talat, north of the city of Cour de Fontaine. If this teleport isn’t open yet, you can go to a nearby fast travel point and swim there.
Since at this stage there is no timer limiting the collection of jellyfish in time, you will not encounter any special problems. Just follow the jellyfish, but don’t leave the staging area.
