Modder nicknamed gclocker is developing his own Half-Life based on the Unreal Engine 4. The project is called Operation Half-Real. The author has already released a playable demo and posted a video with gameplay footage.
“Operation Half-Real aims to create a Half-Life inspired experience powered by the Unreal Engine, giving you new scenarios to immerse yourself in. The project builds on what Valve has already achieved with its critically acclaimed game, with new ideas to spice up the gameplay.”says the project description.
The project is still in an early stage of development and therefore much of what was planned has not yet been implemented. Nevertheless, thanks to the demo, gamers can already enjoy in-game combat with enemies, exploring dark locations and interacting with some characters.
