Blizzard has revealed the official details of the first season Diablo 4 launches on July 20. It was called “Pest Season”.
The citizens of Sanctuary face a new kind of corruption from Lilith, which is driving monsters insane. Only the main character and the former priest Cormond can stop the damage.
The season adds a series of missions with a storyline and new mechanics. Plague hearts will now fall from elite monsters, which can be activated and summon a stronger version of the monster with minions.
Plaguehearts can be built into rings and amulets to enhance your character. There will be a total of 30 different plague powers.
In addition, 6 new unique items, 7 seasonal aspects and the boss Varshan the Devoured appear in the game.
The developers will also add the first battle pass. There is a paid version with more levels, but they only contain extra cosmetic items.
Blizzard previously announced a new Blood Knight class for Diablo Immortal.
