The popular tank battle game “World of Tanks” has received an update dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day.

On May 9, the look of the hangar will change – it will be inspired by the memorial complex on Mamaev Kurgan. Also on this day, the game will host a parade in honor of Victory Day. It is broadcast on the game’s official community on VKontakte. In addition, until May 12, you can complete festive combat missions and gain 5 times more experience for the first victory of the day.
In addition to festive events, the game launched the Assembly Shop event where you can assemble your own tank. In it you can get a premium vehicle with the mechanics of a flamethrower tank and a premium tank VIII Object 156 O with the Gorynych style. Building a tank consists of 28 stages, 24 of which can be obtained by completing groups of combat missions. The remaining 4 stages can be purchased from the in-game shop for bonds or gold. An internship costs 1000 bonds or 1000 gold. A powerful computer in the form of a flamethrower tank will be drawn among the participants of the Assembly Shop.
A new branch appears in the game – Japanese tank destroyers. Their authors describe them as universal vehicles with medium armor, high firepower and good mobility. New vehicles can be broadly divided into 2 parts: ambush vehicles with excellent camouflage (Levels V-VI) and active support vehicles that can attack and defend well (Levels VII-X).
World of Tanks and the Battle of Stalingrad Museum-Reserve will release a documentary film dedicated to the greatest battle of the Great Patriotic War and World War II. It will be released on May 9 in the official World of Tanks community on VKontakte and on the game’s YouTube channel.
And now the sad part: “PS5 sales are growing, but users are not buying new games”
