Port Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for PC was totally unplayable. It’s all about technical issues and game optimization, but at the moment the gaming community has already found several options to improve performance. In this guide, we also describe all the errors and bugs that may occur during the game and tell you effective ways to fix them.

How to Increase FPS in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor
First way
Immediately make a reservation that this method may not help all users. While some players experienced an increase in average frame rate, others experienced even worse performance. If you don’t want to take the risk, it’s best to wait for the official patches to be released.
To set custom settings:
- Keyboard shortcut Win+R name the search string and enter without quotes “%USERPROFILE%AppDataLocalSwGameSavedConfigWindowsNoEditor”;
- Rename the file in the opened folder “config.ini” v Engine.ini.
You can also download the completed “Engine.ini” file and simply place it in the specified path. If your game performance has deteriorated, we recommend reverting the changes.

Second way
One of the players suggested a more detailed procedure to increase the FPS in the game. Open conductor and follow the path “appdata/local/swgame/…”. Open the file with any text editor “GameUserSettings.ini”. Enter the following text:
- antialiasing = 0;
- resolution quality = 100;
- desired screen height = true;
- height/width = (set your screen resolution);
- All lines with “fullscreen = 1”;
- All visual settings = “3” (it’s worth lowering these values to “2” or “1” if performance degrades);
- Necessary Check the box “Read only” for file “GameUserSettings.ini”.
Nvidia Control Panel
After changing the configuration in the “GameUserSettings.ini” file, you need to go to the Nvidia control panel for the final settings:
- Click “PKM” on the desktop and open the Nvidia control panel;
- Go to “3D Options” And “Manage 3D Settings”and then inside “Program Settings”;
Find the game and set the settings as described in the following sections:
- “Incl. anisotropic filtering” (minimum value).
- “Anti-aliasing – Mode” set to “Override application settings”.
- “Activate DSR” under “General Options”.
- Save and exit the control panel.

This method helps improve game performance and get a smoother image without FPS drawdown.
We will be updating this guide soon and detailing other technical issues we encountered in the game.
