The Sands of Time from the makers of Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed

On the official Prince of Persia Twitter page popped up a new message to the players regarding the remake announced in 2019 The sands of time.

Ubisoft has announced that the game is now being developed by Canadian studio Ubisoft Montreal, responsible for the Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs series. Before that, Ubisoft Mumbai and Ubisoft Pune worked on it.

The remake was originally scheduled to release in January 2021, but was postponed indefinitely. Apparently due to a change in the studio the release will be delayed again. The game is being developed for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch.

Previously known insider Tom Henderson (Tom Henderson) reported that Ubisoft is working on another game about Prince of Persia. It will be with 2.5D graphics. The modder did what Bethesda couldn’t for many reissues – made the NPC say the main character’s name
