American company DeLorean Motors (DMC) will play the DMC-12, the car best known for its “time machine” role in the “Back to the Future” movie trilogy, informs dram
The car, which will be called the new EVolved, will be unveiled at the Concours d’Elegance automotive aesthetics festival in California in August. It is assumed that the car will be equipped with an electric propulsion system, gull-wing doors and an interior such as the original DMC-12 model produced from 1981 to 1983.
DMC CEO Joost de Vries said the new EVolved symbolizes the rebirth of the DeLorean brand. In the future, the company will launch a range of electric vehicles, including coupes and crossovers.
