1C Game Studios has officially announced a new project – a game based on “Tales of Old Rus”. A short video has been released on YouTube showing two armies fighting.
The project is in the prototype stage, but the release is scheduled for 2024. Now the team is looking for artists – you can apply for a vacancy through the official website.
The Tales of Old Rus’ universe was created by artist Roman Papsuev. It is a modern interpretation of Slavic mythology and folk tales. Here Alyosha Popovich is a formidable witch hunter and Vasilisa the Wise is a battle mage.
As an author, I am very curious to see how my work and characters develop in video games. Even at the Tales creation stage, I planned to try and transfer the characters to the game world. I am sure that together with the 1CGS team I will have the opportunity to realize my plans.
