Blizzard has shared the details of the next update for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight titled Embers of Netlarion. It will add the first interfactional guilds to the game, for Alliance and Horde fighters to join.

Guilds will appear on the test server first – this should happen in the next few days. A full-fledged launch will coincide with the release of update 10.1, which they promise to release before the end of spring.

Before that, the Alliance and the Horde were allowed to go into raids and other zones together. Many players subsequently approved the innovation as it allowed you to play with friends regardless of faction.

The Embers of Netlarion kicks off the second season of Dragonflight. The update adds a new zone, raid dungeon, mount, and gear.

For the first time in history, Alliance and Horde players can join the same guild in World of Warcraft
