The decision to postpone the release date was made after gamers’ negative reaction to the gameplay shown at the State of Play presentation in February. The video has collected 44 thousand dislikes and only 9 thousand likes. The project was criticized for elements of a “game service” and monotonous gameplay for several heroes.
The game is being developed by Rocksteady Studio, who released the Batman: Arkham trilogy. It is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
