Publisher 11 bit Studios and developer Fool’s Theory have announced an isometric role-playing game called The Thaumaturge. The action will unfold in an alternate Russian empire, namely in Warsaw in 1905. The first trailer has already appeared online.

The authors promise a deep plot, a unique system of tactical combat, well-developed character leveling, detective elements, a difficult moral choice and unpredictable consequences.
The universe of the game is inhabited by both ordinary people and mysterious alien forces, including mysterious creatures – firecrackers. By the way, they can be controlled by thaumaturgen. With their help, they can influence not only the human mind, but also the world around it.

The project is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5. The Thaumaturge can already be added to the wishlist on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store. The exact release date has not been announced.
Incidentally, Fool’s Theory studio is also working on a remake of the first The Witcher. I didn’t have to wait long: Modders completely stripped the heroines in Hogwarts Legacy
