The author of the YouTube channel NoBigDeal La published a video this month featuring an unofficial remaster of the cult stealth action Metal Gear Solid 2, developed by Hideo Kojima in the early 2000s.
The PS2 version of the game was taken as a basis, and therefore gamers need a PCSX2 emulator to run the project on PC. The change noticeably improves the original textures, increasing their resolution to HD.
It is striking that keyboard and mouse control is also possible, but the interface will be styled as PS2. You can download the fan remaster here.
Recall that previously Metal Gear Solid 2 was shown with a first-person camera. It’s worth noting that in the original game this mode is only available while aiming.
