A demonstration of new gameplay took place at the presentation of State of Play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, an open world superhero action game about the Suicide Squad from Rocksteady Studios, creators of the Batman: Arkham series.
The video showed the night Metropolis, co-op, the abilities of the heroes, flight over the city, fights with different types of opponents and cutscenes. And at the very end of the video, the evil versions of Batman, Flash, and Superman lit up.

A development diary has also been released with some key details:
- Events take place 5 years after the Batman: Arkham Knight finale;
- There will be loot of various rarities in play;
- You can play alone (without partners);
- The project will have a battle pass;
- New characters and locations will be added after release.

The action takes place in Metropolis, the hometown of Superman. The plot will tell how Brainiac subjugated the Justice League, which four heroes will face: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark. The game can be played in co-op for four.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches May 26 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
