In 2021, we reported on a medieval action RPG with roguelike and strategic elements called Corpse keeper. Recently, this project was released in early access on Steam and has already received the first feedback from gamers.
At the time of writing the news, the game’s rating is 73%. Most reviews are positive.
The developers call the main feature of Corpse Keeper a high level of complexity. In the game, gamers lead a detachment of the dead, who are brought to life with the help of black magic. Characters differ from each other not only in design, but also in unique skills and characteristics. The gameplay is made with a side view.
During the passage, players must explore a gloomy medieval cathedral inhabited by knights and demonic creatures. There is a pump system. In addition, gamers can pick up various types of equipment that affect the parameters of the characters.
According to the developers, team members decompose and die from time to time, but special mechanics allow players to create new warriors from the flesh and bones of defeated opponents.
