Portal IGN published a video about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, where he talked in more detail about the combat system. Attentive viewers have already noticed an important difference from the first part – a more advanced dismemberment system.
The protagonist Cal cut the droids back in Fallen Order, but in the second part you can also take down humanoids. In the video at 4:14, you can see the hero cut off the leg of one of the stormtroopers.

In addition, Survivor has a stance system that allows you to change the style of battle. There are three available at launch: classic with one sword, double sword and two swords. Strangely, the two-sword stance allows you to cancel the blow during the swing – this is not found anywhere else.
Later, Cal learns to wield a lightsaber with a guard and use a sword with a blaster at the same time. The developers have not yet shown the final rack.
