Fans started developing an unofficial remake of the first one Portal subtitled Another Slice. The project is planned to be updated so that it will appeal to the “new generation” of players who are unfamiliar with the original game.
In particular, puzzles will be added there that were not in the 2007 version. New game mechanics, gameplay changes, and other innovations are also promised. The authors of the remake want to improve the graphics and make the game harder and more fun, while keeping the spirit of the original.
It has not yet been reported when the novelty will be released, so it remains only to wait. Note that an official remaster was released on Steam in late 2022 However, Portal with RTX was disliked by many players due to technical flaws.
