Developers from Russian studio GFA Games are developing a post-apocalyptic open-world shooter Pioner, have posted a new screenshot of the game showing the so-called Disfavored.

According to the authors, these include mutated humans under the control of parasitic fungi. However, these creatures are noticeably different from classic zombies. First of all, it concerns their actions, which are aimed at greater goals than a simple search for food.

Disgraced refers to a dead humanity whose bodies have fallen under the control of parasitic fungi or have been infected with their spores. The infected no longer have room for feelings and emotions. They obey the will of the parasites that enslave them. Disgraced are very different from typical zombies. Their actions throughout the island indicate that their masters have great goals that they try to achieve at all costs.
